Rosalia
Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. She has been a part of the fringes of both traditional and popular music since her teens she also delves into other music genres like hip-hop soul and trap. Her voice is said by no less an artist than the flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp however with a bit of bite similar to those of the past. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention as well as a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she won the Grammy. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami came out as her third album that was full-length. The album featured songs written in collaboration with other artists and producers, including Cory Henry. The album was released on March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia performed solo in her first appearance ever on the show. In addition to winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
